ABOUT US
Founded in 2017 by Jim and June, our breeding program began with a select group of mares and has grown steadily through careful planning and dedication. Today, we proudly manage a broodmare band of ten, each carefully chosen for their strong bloodlines and potential to produce exceptional cow horse prospects. At the heart of our program is a commitment to producing versatile horses that excel in a variety of disciplines, from ranch work to rodeo events. Whether our horses go on to serve as reliable ranch partners or compete in competitive arenas, we aim to create well-rounded athletes with the temperament and skill to succeed. Our breeding program emphasizes the preservation of strong foundation bloodlines, ensuring the quality and consistency of each foal. The results speak for themselves—our weanlings and yearlings have found homes in 19 states across the U.S., as well as in Alberta, Canada. From Florida to Spokane, Washington, our horses are making their mark across North America. Early training and exposure have proven successful, with several of our weanlings already showing promise in rodeo performance, excelling in breakaway and team roping events. We’re proud to see our horses thrive in both competitive and ranch settings, and we look forward to continuing to build on the foundation we’ve established.

June L. Dettmenn
CO-FOUNDER
Originally from Southeast Nebraska, I've worn many hats in my career journey—from veterinary assistant and waitress to professional dog groomer, shipping & receiving at a local factory, and even dispatch/jailor for the Sheriff's department. My heart has always belonged to horses; I've shown at local events across Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas. Nowadays, I revel in raising foals and watching them thrive with their new families.
Outside of my horse-raising world, I love dive into family genealogy, equine genetics, and have a penchant for snapping endless photos of horses (just ask anyone who’s seen my phone—it's practically a horse gallery!). Although I graduated from Humboldt High School in Nebraska and skipped formal college or additional training, my love for animals and the outdoors, especially when the weather is fine, keeps me engaged and content.
Jim M. Kramer
CO-FOUNDER
A Glidden local through and through, Jim M. Kramer has spent his life close to home. From getting his hands dirty with tiling and dirt work alongside his dad. He’s now the maintenance manager at Iowa Corn Processing.
Though he skipped college, Jim has plenty of skills to show for it. When he’s not maintaining corn facilities, he’s indulging in his love for hunting and fishing. Like June, he’s an animal enthusiast, with a lifelong passion for horses and a lot of riding under his belt from his younger days.
ABOUT OUR FARM
Our farm, located at 29902 150th, Glidden, IA, is nestled next to wide-open row crops, with a peaceful pond set further back. With a few acres and fenced-off pens, it is home to all of our newborns, where we foal out in the barn and gradually wean them into open grass fields until they find their future homes. We prioritize maintaining a clean environment and reducing stress on our horses to ensure their well-being. By living right next to the barn, we provide 24-hour care on-site, ensuring our horses receive the highest level of attention and support at all times.
